Is-sinjal għal KITBA TAL-POEŻIJA għandha żewġ partijiet. L-ewwel parti ssir b’id waħda forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ mifrudin u kkurvati ftit u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id, l-ewwel tmiss kemm kemm is-sider bil-pala, l-iktar bil-parti ta’ fuq tas-swaba’, imbagħad toħroġ ftit ’il barra u timxi ftit ’l isfel biex tkompli t-tieni parti. It-tieni parti huwa s-sinjal għal KITEB li jsir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf forma ta’ 5 magħluqa bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ T bil-pala tħares ’isfel u bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jiffurmaw ċirku. Din l-id timxi żigużajg fuq jew kemm kemm ’il fuq mill-pala tal-id il-wieqfa. Dan il-moviment tal-aħħar jerġa’ jirrepeti ruħu.
The sign for POETRY WRITING has two parts. The first part is made with one hand in the shape of 5 with fingers slightly apart and curved a little and with the palm facing inwards. The hand first touches the chest slightly, mainly with the top part of the fingers, and then moves outwards and slightly downwards to start the second part. The facial expression during the first part are important. The eyes close very slightly as the head moves forward a little. The second part is the sign for WRITE which is made with both hands. One hand is held stationary in the shape of closed 5 with the palm facing upwards. The other hand takes the shape of T with palm facing downwards and with the thumb and index finger forming a circle. This hand moves onto or just above the palm of the stationary hand with the thumb side touching the palm and then moves towards the fingers. This movement of the last part of the sign is repeated.
